Hey all, I thought I'd share a few of my new riffs that I have under development. I hope that's cool...

They are pretty primitive, and yes I know everything about them needs some practice (I'm on it), but I thought I'd share anyways. Y'know, get some feedback and see what y'all think about it and stuff. I have a kind of voice leading thing played in the melody for this one, although I do do different stuff also this was the one I thought I'd play hahaha These are kind of some warmup stuff and motifs I am trying to develop while I work on my "main project" for the year!

Cool patterns. The first one sounds very Beatles-y to me.

I love the Beatles, and Paul is a big influence on "Bass Player Me" - I'll take that as a compliment!

hahaha I guess it's primitive/easy stuff for other folks, but for me a big challenge! I like how they sound, so I'm gonna play 'em! :D

Yo, Jaye.

Some of these sound very sticky, in a good way. The parts seem to move well.

Well, I hope so! hahaha :D As I get better at them they are getting more fluid. Of course, I transpose 'em diatonically to every chord (Maj, Hmin, Mel Min) in all 12 keys, and then pedal off of each other, not to mention there's about 30 other melodic motifs I practice over top of them also.

Lots of work, but it translates to a lot of musical ammo at my disposal too! Even if some of it ends up sounding a bit 'meh' the experience alone is highly useful I find! Helps with personalizing tunes, too...
