So here's another tune I put together this evening - didn't take too long, and I even memorized it so I could videotape it real quick. There's another section that I can play, but I didn't like how it sounded just yet. I'm planning on maybe arranging the crap out of it and making an epic 'rock-band' kind of thing out of this...
It's kind of nice now to be at a point on this instrument where it's not such a struggle to get some music put together in 30min or less and have it sound okay. Anyways, I thought I'd share it.
(Oh, and I included my rough score for reference, although I deviated from it a bit after messing around with it...)
Again, it's nice to have the ability to be able to select a tune and be able to make a basic arrangement and then play it the same day within a reasonable timeframe. It makes for a nice starting point, and constant, measurable progression. It took quite a while to figure out an approach that works for me, but now that I have, things will be smoother.
Today, I will be looking at other options for arranging this in a rock band sort of setting for my "one man band" thing I am putting together with the Stick. I think the tune will go over well once it's arrangement is completed... maybe a video on it later today...

That was good! Took me back to the days of watching the cartoon after school... before mom caught me.

Re: Stick Cover "Spider-man"
Hey thanks, guys! This chunk of the tune is a lot of fun to play; I had a blast putting it together, and it means a lot to me that y'all dug it. Much appreciated!
Working on this little riff has given me a lot of ideas, there's a lot of directions this could be taken... I have a more performance ready version of this together, maybe I'll videotape it if I get a chance soon... Thanks again, guys.
