Post Third International Councilors video up
Hi everyone.

This one is basically a 7-minute long overdriven SG12 solo.

Enjoy.

Hi, Greg.

That's a great groove again. I was wondering if you would please identify the members of the group. I'd like to attach names to those faces and sounds.

Thanks,

-Eric

Wow! The "Moby Dick" of Stick solos. Way cool 8-) I really like the atmosphere the band set for you to solo over. The SG12 tone with distortion is very good. I particularly like that repeating high-position pentatonic lick with delay. An awesome, "Hendrixian" solo delivered smoothly.

Hi Eric,

From left to right:
Darrell Rose - Afrikan percussion (his spelling of
Afrikan)
YT - Stick Guitar
James McLaughlin - drums
Matthew Willner - bass
Kurt Patterson - Afrikan percussion.

I've played with Darrell since 1992. He's an amazing musician and a great painter, as well. The cover art for Sol is one of his paintings:

And thanks, Matt for your kind comments, too. More to videos to come. My plan is to put 5 or six up, see what kind of comments they get and maybe take down the weakest couple after a while, so any ratings and comments on YouTube would help me a lot with that.

Much obliged.

I like them all, but I'm leaning towards the second one so far. One issue: I'm having trouble hearing what you're doing with the left hand at times. Sometimes it pops through, but I'm guessing the bass player sort of buries it. Or maybe I'm deaf :D
