Post In Kind Contribution - Two Hands Separately
More digging in the recent archives revealed this older track and a trend that remains to this day. When recording a "band" piece (as opposed to a solo piece) I almost always record the bass and melody sides of Stick separately. I am now preparing to record a solo Stick CD to have at my solo gigs which reflect what I play when performing live as opposed to recording.

"In Kind Contribution" features Grand Stick, Keyboards, and Zendrum.

I love it! A bit of Gentle Giant, Yes, King Crimson and other groups of that area...great music. Congratulations.

Fusion on the jazz side. Rhythms in 5s, 6s and 7s and my analytical mind refuses to dissect. Like immersion in warm water, I just enjoy and let it overwhelm. Bass and melody string groups separated or integrated, it doesn't matter. The musical sensation itself got to me (though I usually admire live performance as does Jeremy).

His is a fine recording craft and endlessly versatile tool of musical expression.

Thanks so much for the kind words! The instrument inspires - especially the raised matched reciprocal tuning.
