Cantar da Emigracao
Hi everyone, here is my most recent video: a story by 19th century Galician Poet Rosalia de Castro, portraing the lives of women left behing as the men emigrated to Cuba in search of a better life. "Widows of the living death" she called the mothers, wifes and children left behind. The portuguese title means "The Song of the Emigrants". Curiosity: The young girl behind me in the still image is my grandmother, born in 1911, passed away two weeks ago with the beatiful age of 106. Subtitles available
