"Have you Ever Seen the Rain?" Peyton Tochterman/Greg Howard
I've really been enjoying playing with singer/songwriter Peyton Tochterman. Here's one of the few covers we do, in honor of a truly soggy year here in Charlottesville. Enjoy!

Love the organ solo in the middle. Finally had some time to watch and catch up on here.Great as always Greg
Thanks, Rob
We have a gig in a big theater Saturday night, so maybe I'll get a live version. Thanks for watching!
Sorry, just now late to checking this out. This was really awesome, Greg! I also dug the "organ" solo there in the middle. I love Peyton's voice for this song.
And extra points for the stoic Stick face with your eyes closed for most of the tune.
The acoustic guitar + Stick is a combo I haven't seen a lot of but I really dig it. Do you guys have more cover tunes together? I hope you do post some video; that'd be really cool to see more of you two. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you, Steve.
I've played in this combo with acoustic guitar several times. The Stickist is the bassist and lead guitar, or bassist, additional rhythm guitar AND lead guitar. It's a perfect role for someone who has good independence skills on the instrument, especially if the guitarist/singer has a steady groove.
The tone of the Stick really meshes well with acoustic guitar, much better than an electric or acoustic bass does, to my ear.
