Post "Cooler Heads" from Home Planet
Here is the latest track entitled "Cooler Heads" from my duet "Home Planet" with guitarist/drummer Jack Wright. I am playing the Railboard on this track along with a Godin MultiOud.

I loved that, Jeremy. I had to look up what a Godwin MultiOud was.

I found it very bluesy but still adventuring into some wilder sonic areas. "Fusion blues?" maybe. Or maybe just a Zappa feel, although I don't know his stuff that well.

i especially liked the breakdown starting at 3:00 or so. And then the next one at 4:00. Lots to like on this one! Nice dreamy finish. And then a couple of glitches in the dreams. Cool!

Godin MultiOud

Thanks guys! The Godin is fun but challenging to play because it is fretless. My face looks like the clip Gene posted when I work I’m playing in tune on the Godin.

The Railboard continues to impress me with the bass tone in active mode.

Awesome stuff, I love godin guitars. I had a la patrie nylon, and a few other godins. My favorite acoustic , which i still have, is a godin. At the the time it was my most expensive guitar. Hand made in canada, at a really good price, I have only seen the oud once, almost bought one. interesting instrument, you're awesome dude, keep it up.

Thanks very much! For this kind of track, the Railboard is my favorite Stick bass sound. I tend to favor the Bamboo Grand for quieter or solo tracks and the NS/Stick for middle of the road rock tracks.

The Godin MultiOud is the only Godin instrument I have but I am guessing they make other excellent instruments. I played one of their nylon string fretless guitars before. Are their acoustics called Seagull?

The tape eater effect is great - Jack (the guitarist) is so good at working in the effects. Normally, we record live and he handles all the looping on the fly. This piece is our first "distanced" recording.
