Love the sound and playing and the piece is a perfect match for the Stick! Dare I say it has a harpsichord like quality to it (I voted in favor of harpsichords in the recent poll).

Well done Rob. This is a ton of work. I understand what you mean about polishing. These pieces require a lot of time to get perfect.

Post Re: Scarlatti K380 work in progress
Before the year is over I thought I'd post the current state of this piece, as I've been working on it on and off the past couple years.

I recorded a few takes on my new custom 5+7 Grand Stick with Stickup, here is a rough edit and mix. I like it better than my first version but it also helps to identify other areas for improvement- at times it can still be a little choppy and dynamics could be better (it's more harpsichord-y than piano or classical guitar-like in that regard).

One tricky part was getting the repeated notes in the melody to sound more fluid by carefully selecting which of the three fingers to alternate between, depending on what the next fret or string is. When I make a video it will make more clear what I mean. But this is totally fun to play and perfectly suited for mirrored 4ths.
