I had the idea to attempt this piece over 20 years ago. I only remember this because I have the score...I had ordered it when I was head of print music sales at Caldwell Music Co in Abilene, TX 97-99. I've fiddled with Adagio once or twice over the decades, but never seemed the right time. But I find this day & age the appropriate moment to make something of this.
