Post Stolen Moments - Gene Perry and Rachel Flowers
Why have I never seen this duet posted to the forum? Gene and Rachel playing Stolen Moments by Oliver Nelson at Stick Night March 2, 2019.

What a honor to play with Rachel she always sounds great. She had a excellent upright Stick player to accompany. Like the no strap approach. Thanks for sharing Rachel and Gene.

I was coming back from the farmers market - Jersey tomatoes & corn, and the college station was playing jazz, and I heard 7 Steps To Heaven, and Stolen Moments! We used to play it in an electric band (I was playing fretless bass) and called it "Swollen Moments.
I get home and put this on. No coincedences, my sponser used to say.
Great!

Thanks gents, definitely nice to hear all this kindness, I really appreciate it.

It was one of our final Guitar Merchant nights with Emmett - he really loved performing with Rachel as her approach to the instrument was entirely unique AND she complimented him perfectly on the keyboard too.

Just watched/listened to it again. Too much smilin', Gene! Pulled the Big Book out this morning to work this up.
So much can be done with arrangement of this tune. SO MUCH WORK!
Thanks to you AND RACHEL for inspiration.
