SystematiK - Jazz Fusion Ensemble Grand Stick
“SystematiK” was inspired by a pentatonic scale exercise from Greg Howard emphasizing hand movement on the base side. I routinely practice the exercise designed to encourage not playing in a single position in the left hand. I would not play Stick without the encouragement and wisdom of Emmett and Greg.
I recorded the Stick part to a click and then added drums, electric piano and synth.

Thanks! I never saw his 70’s band but I did see him with Stanley Clarke and Bela Fleck.
