Post Two recent Stick recordings
Hi,
I just made two new recordings using the SG12 and the Grand. Being a freshman on the Stick it amazes me how useful the instrument is in recordings.

Here's the SG-12 doing drums and drones in one livelooping improvisation. Then a fretless ebow guitar was added as an overdub.

This other piece was rather done this way in order to gain experience with electric cello playing and how that sound can be used in the studio. The 12 stringed Grand provides the bass line here.

Originally I played the repeating five note pattern on the Grand's melody side but after having recorded the nine cello tracks - that came out way more aggressive sounding than I had imagined - I thought a different sound was needed for that five note pattern and laid it down again with a softer sounding fretless guitar.
