Sunday Blue
Hi Everybody, This is my latest in front of that tyrannical little camera built into my Mac. I hope you enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKsS_7pCp-Q&feature=plcpI can't get the Youtube URL to embed in the HTML (maybe my Firefox is too old... dunno) The bridge is based upon the arpeggio forms from Bob Culbertson's lesson... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkL7LdH9 ... 5AA93E055A-Walter

Re: Too Sunday Blue
Nice playing. Your 12 bar blues is so original, it comes in at 16 bars. I like your phrasing and expression. Cooooooooool

Re: Sunday Blue
Thanks both of you for the kind words.
... and Steve, I changed "12 bar blues" to just "blues" in the description. Thanks for the heads up on the boo boo.

Re: Sunday Blue
Hey dubyasee! Great song, great playing! I have been schooled by another Stickist on how to get the URL to work the way you want it to. Using this link, which is also GREAT, I will show what was shown to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYfg1yBnofY&feature=plcpClip off everything in the URL to the right of the "&", so your link likes this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYfg1yBnofYClick the youtube button in the tool bar and paste the url into the middle. Re: Sunday Blue
Walter, really, really nice consistent playing. to the untrained ears, no one fully appreciates how difficult it is to sustain a consistent and listenable motif the way you do here. you make it seem seamless and effortless. It was nice to hear a different side to your erudite playing which I recall has a lot of Steely Dan intelligent influences. at the beginning, I thought you we going into a syncopated version of "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)" by Randy Newman made famous by Three Dog Night! very original and refreshing to hear in this forum! keep up the great work.
