Post I can play stuff
Looks like I can finally play well enough to bear to listen to myself... what do you all think?

Welcome!

0000 & 0001: mellow, phase-tastic sounds
0002: reminded me of Tool at first

Tell us more about your gear and recording process ;-)

Really Decent!

Where in Denver are you? (not that I get down there much).

I am not too far away in Estes Park. If you are up this way PM me and we will get together.

Once it gets a little warmer I will be playing on the street in downtown Estes.

Later, Lee

Great stuff Indroth!

Dark and moody and spacey and introspective as well as melodic, I really love 0000! Could you listen to my my space stuff and tell me what you think?
Thanks!

Gear is fairly basic:

Stick -> POD X3 Live -> cakewalk
+
Some MIDI controller -> cakewalk

The stick is a 10-string (#1143) with ACTV-2 pickups.

The recording process tends to vary. Mostly, it involves laying down a drum track and then building on that (mostly improvised). I usually record the stick parts together (bass and melody) and clean it up some.

Really good. The second half of "Death and Loss" was incredible: Very melodic and conveys a lot of feeling without being unnecessarily complex.

You can in fact play stuff, thats right. Good work and all, it seems promising. So you are into the whole programming thing too, always a wide open field there. Its great when you can fuse the computer stuff with live instruments. Welcome to the forum.
