Yea, I think he is tapping 2 sticks.... An NS and and a melody 8 string stick 'I think' But tuned weird as all hell. Or maybe that was an ideal goal. I love this guy tho, a nice mix of madness and theory(i mean that in a good way)and he seems willing to share his philosophy so its chill.

However, I think i lose him when he talks about playing stick laptop style. Crossed is still the king, with uncrossed quite a ways behind yet still cool. Laptop style is almost non existant to me. So the tuning and the positioning are a major hangup but I try to stay open.

Keyboardists often have 3 keyboards available perpendicular and above the first keyboard on a raised stand except if they want to play bass chords and lead they have to play stride style since the bass notes are so far away. Stick doesn't have that problem
