Yea!

ps- the last 10 or so seconds is the greatest ending to a song ever. I knew this dude was good but for some reason I never found these videos of him. I think its some of the best playing and overall he just has a good feeling.

** in this next one he even gets a sitar thing going on which really works well, hows he doing that!?

No effects too, its just clean stick. The sound quality on some of these are a top notch example of a clear, bright, natural stick tone.

Frank was great. I met him in Belgium at a Stick seminar in 1991 and was blown away by his technique, taste and tone... and he could sight read too!
Personally I much prefer the tone he had on his ironwood (the one on the second video, with the extended frets), the polycarbonate has a slightly aggressive sound that IMHO doesn't suit his musical style.

Not to get off topic but this vid from Tipton has some great harmonic skills too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3hVIbBLg2E&feature=related. I like the chord changes, and I really dont know how he's doing it, pretty sweet.
