Re: Crickets Holy Crix, this is amazing! The insects stick with a major key! I think the slowed down low octave version reminds of the chorus "Jesus Christ, Super Star..." from the seventies opera if you recall.

Let's face it, with enough electronics even my mother-in-law would sound melodic.

Let's face it, with enough electronics even my mother-in-law would sound melodic. In this case no electronic processing were applied. The recording was only speeded/tuned down. What you hear is exactly what the insects are singing but you here it lower and slower.
