Post Loop Improv
Here's a short video of me messing around with looping in Ableton. I'm using the Novation Launchpad to trigger loop recording which means I have to take my fingers off the strings. Hopefully I'll get a midi pedal board soon.

Nice looping. I've been using Live with another instrument. If you have an iPad, look at the app 'Touchable'. It allows total control of Live. I have it affixed to a mic stand which makes it easy to reach while playing.

Nice. Took me a few moments to realize you're playing a Stick Bass (I think) - I think this is the first video I've seen featuring one of those.
Very cool, thanks for sharing!!

I've used Touchable in the past but then started using Lemur more. Then I abandoned all iPad based controllers because I really missed feeling what I was doing. There something important to me about the tactile nature of a knob, fader, or button.

However I might go back and check Touchable out again. It's been a few revisions since I last looked.

Thanks for the tip.

Yep. You can see my mid-eighties classic Stick in the background, but the Stick Bass has turned out to be much more *me* than I suspected.
