I am playing with a new technique I came up with where my right hand is playing the melody line with the ring finger and at the same time slap/pop with the thumb/index finger. It's a work in progress but I got to a point where I thought I can showcase it...
After making the video I realize how much more I need to learn. Not just playing but the mix and video. I was trying for a great performance video where you can see the technique up close but the take with the best performance is this one. This is a me playing the song all the way through with no edits... mistakes and all...

I was super excited when it started to come together. I was first just playing one note with the slapping but then incorporating a melody line was another level and made me even more excited.

The NS/Stick I play was one of two prototypes that was made. The other one is owned by Don Schiff and we call them the sisters. We take pictures of them together when ever Don and I get together...
