Hey all! Since recently I joined a band as bass-player and Stick player, and I wanted to share a demo-song I played some Stick bass on to get a feel for it:

The vocalist/guitarist usually creates the songs first on acoustic guitar, after which the band adds their parts to it over time. On the final version there will be extra (electric) guitar and drums. I still plan to change some small parts of the basslines, and there are a few mistakes, but I'm quite happy with it as is. This is the first time that I played Stick bass where it actually sounds and feels like it was meant to be played on Stick, and not just standard (electric) bass lines played on Stick.

NICE, Ken! That was well played, and even in this first, tentative demo stage, you had some really nice ideas come out. The cool part is that it'll only get cooler as thing go along!
That tune really has a fun Jack-Johnson-esque vibe.
