Post Oceans in space and Tatsu 'collaboration"
:?: Greetings from the top secret underground electronic space lab. All I can say is that It is inside a cave beneath the earth. And yeah we run electricity down there, its pretty dope. I guess all kinds of beings live below the earth, this hollow earth....

I present 2 tracks form oceans and tatsu.

I am not going too say much here yet, but can elaborate more later if you like.
First I want to thank tatsu for allowing me to collaborate with him, it was an honor! Seriously, he is a killer dude.

*fyi these pages are not an album, I just use the archive to backup all my music. SO the other tracks on the pages are unrelated and maybe not even done, so don't listen to them!

This is track 4, called tasu comp. Yeah I know its how I labeled them on my computer...Tatsu probably thinks I am a dork, alas the track is there.

It is track 5, the title track.

So as for the songs, it was very strange because they took on a life of their own, at least to me. And I probably over tweaked it but thats kinda my bag these days so cut me a lil slack(or not) if you think I went nutty with fx. I have come to like insane amounts of fx I guess! Mainly the beat repeats which I use like crack.

Anyway, I have tatsu's blessing to unleash these beasts. 2 tracks, 1 started with him and the other with me. Then we sent them back and did the basically made some virtual songs.

They are pretty out there and have a "good evil" vibe you know. The one track morphs from paradise chillness to like unholy demonic zones and back and forth a few times which trips me out alot.

Thanks for checking em out and and hails to tatsu the equal partner in crime.

I love Tatsu's musical thinking, he's really original...like it a lot.

This is some great music for a Monday morning.

Good for listening while doing computer work (is anyone else out there playing the roles of graphic designer, webmaster, writer, and PR specialist for themselves in addition to being a DIY musician?)

So I'm curious about one thing in particular. Are the effects being played live during tracking, or added later during production, or somewhere in between?

Specifically, when you hear the Stick sounding like a glitchy dragged out Aphex Twin snare. I would figure that's using the effects plugins in the recording software?

Very enriching...
