Just realized my American-made Legacy Standard is now 23 years old. At some point Joe quit making them, then re-issued them as imports. I liked the bolt-on graphite sound better than the set-in necks at the time. We used to have a Zon dealer nearby, plus a sales rep had come downstate with 3-4 more basses with him before I bought this:



One thing I've noticed about every Zon I've played, they are all well-balanced. One unique aspect of my Zon is I can just about get a harmonic off of every fret on every string. No other instrument I have can do that to the same ability as my Zon.

Trip Wamsley plays Zon. The first time I heard them was playing on the same stage as this guy…
