It's been said before and I'll say it again: One of the best parts of being on this forum is that people show you things about Stick players that you might not even know existed. Derek is awesome.

Hi Luc,

Derek was my intro to the Stick many years ago when I heard him busking in our local town square. I turned a corner and saw all this music coming from a guy with a plank! I was amazed one pair of hands could make so many notes!

He later busked his way from the UK to Japan where he now lives. A truly humble musician he plays down his skill and always says it is the Stick that is clever! Like Per, he also plays the harp guitar.
