My Jumper Cable
I posted a bawdy blues tune lauding my Jumper Cable.
The song features drum loop, Vocal and Stick (played in one pass). I am working on alternating the one and five bass notes with a minor 7th chord form in the left hand and noodling blues notes with the right. It was tempting to overdub a blues guitar track, but I elected to keep it simple with my pedestrian soloing on Stick.
The lyrics are in the bragging blues tradition, which would be right at home in a rowdy roadhouse atmosphere.
You can find "My Jumper Cable" at the MySpace link below. The changes they've been doing with the music players might cause some weirdness, but I hope not. I hope you enjoy it.

Re: My Jumper Cable
I took a Skype lesson from Greg the other evening and he made some suggestions on this latest tune of mine (...do it over... LOL). I've tried for more of a "physical" approach... letting the music dictate technique rather than the other way around. Thanks Greg.
If any of you remember the first effort and can listen to this latest version, I'd be grateful for any comments. It might take a while for it to show up on the MySpace music player.
...back to practicing.
