Guitar synth, looper.....a rainy day....Floyd......
I rather enjoyed playing this..... In my mind I was toned and tanned, shirtless in the Italian sun..... Sadly the reality was a rainy day in Wales, and looking if I was just about to pick the children up from school. Thankfully it sounds a lot better than it looks. [emoji5] http://youtu.be/oyBxaONN1G8

Graham, Wow - you really rock! That was so tight, so tasty, and your looping skills are par excellance. The groove and the flow was right on, and I was here head bobbing all the way through it.
Spot on performance skills, and the effects were judicially used to enhance and not overpower!
I really really enjoyed this- thank you for coming back to the forum. You still have that "fire in your belly" which is really refreshing to see and in this case hear too!
thanks for a great post, Dave B "DBro"

That WAS good! Thanks for sharing that. What are you using to loop and how DO you get it to sync up so perfectly with the drums?

Hey Gene. Thanks! I use the boss rc300, which has the onboard rhythms, all synced in with the loops. It can also sync with an external drum machine. I've tried an sr16 which worked really well. I have a prototype board at the moment with a vocal harmoniser as well (it takes a feed from the "guitar out" jack on the gr55). The gr55 patch changes are controlled by the hd500, which gives 8 patches available in one "scene" . It works really well but it weighs 4.5 tonnes and needs a fleet of trucks and s team of roadies to transport it.
