I might be opening for this amazing musician in March:

Have any of you ever caught his live show?

If you open for this (1) guy, Greg, you'll definitely hold your own and give the crowd an unexpected thrill. I could be a real opportunity for you to break out and get some exposure you wouldn't get with a more conventional act.

It's an interesting point Walter,

I've opened up for all kinds of acts, from very well-known jazz musicians like John McLaughlin, folkies like Richie Havens, prog bands like Porcupine Tree and other solo instrumentalists like Michael Manring.

It's been rare that I opened up for a more conventional pop act or really traditional jazz act. In those cases, I don't thinkthe audience is as "into it."

It seems like it's better to be similar in tone, but not too similar in tunes, so this might be a nice fit. Anyway, I dig his music, which is a lot better than opening for someone you don't like.

Very cool in a sort of One Man Nine Inch Nails way.
