That's some of the most precise incredible dexterity and chops I've ever seen. Her tone doesn't move me and sounds tubby and excessively midrangy. The material is just an exercise in manual dexterity and not very soulful or musical. She's young tho and needs to get this phase out of her system. You can tell she practices a lot and that's good. I'd like to hear what she's doing 10 years from now with some seasoning.

Well, she is a lot better than I am! Holy chops from hell batman! But, I don't know if I dig the tune or not... Big respect for her speed and accuracy, though!

Yes, that's my take also. I mean seriously at her age she can only get better right? But I'd have no complaints about being at her level at that age!

I agree totally...you can play the notes that Jaco played, but it still isn't Jaco

Amazing I guess, lots of whizz kids on Youtube now peeling off stuff like perfect versions of Yngwies Black Star which I never could! Like the Captain says , hopefully she matures and "seasons" into her own individual sound and maybe ends up a bit like Tal Wilkenfeld, but being Australian, I'm biased.

To be tasty at this age is not important. To get super chops, yes it is and she's there. I'm sure she's getting a solid reputation with a performance like this one. Her beauty combined with this, she'll be a superstar in few years.
Speed can be part of the musical art, a form of sketching. Dey's is rhythmically spot on, as exact as the phenomenal drummer's pace (reminds me of Gary J. a bit), also harmonically innovative and melodically sure footed.
If mountain goats can leap and hang from the precipices, lighthearted with life at stake, its not above human musicians to play with perfection.
Consider Holdsworth and McLaughlin, immensely innovative, but fast!
