Late reply.. Yes, I've got one of these. I tuned it like a stick, and split the keyboard, so that my right hand could play the upper range. I tuned the upper 8 frets a few octaves higher, then played the midi thru sampletank, using the transpose to transpose down again. That way I could have an acoustic bass for my left hand and lead with my right. Works quite well, but in the end nothing like real strings, and analogue feedback. Good fun for holidays though... |

Yep, I had one from the first kickstarter batch, waited my 2 years to get it, kept it about a month and sold it. It was interesting, and useful for some things but not really very responsive or answering something I couldn't do in another way. I am sure there are people who will use it well, as effectively it is like a cheap linnstrument, but not for me. |

I sold mine recently - decided I wasn't really enjoying it. The playing surface isn't nearly as responsive as my Linnstrument. I wonder if they'll come out with a mark 2.. |
