Post Hang drum vids
Not sure if these have been posted before. Two of the better players around (some nice ideas to try on Stick):

God the Hang Drum is so freaking amazing. I wish I could get my hands on one to play let alone buy one. It's very akin to the Stick I believe. One guy makes them and you have to wait forever and pay a lot. :) The only complaint I can think of is that you're kinda limited to 1 key and it's relative modes.

...and you have to go to Switzerland and pick it up yourself (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). The more advanced players seem to be getting into playing two Hang(s) at once, which somewhat counteracts the lack of tonal variety.

Andy

Just a Hang update there are some guys in the U.S. who are building this drum and they are calling it a "Halo" or "Hand Pan". You still need to get on a waiting list and it will take time
but you can get one. I think the quality of these drums will be up there with the original
Hang. The company is called Pantheon Steel and they make high end steel drums.
(A Hang is essentially a inverted steel drum you play with your hands) Anyway they have the blessing of Panart the originators and I think the new ones are going to be really good.

Possibly the only instrument around with more obvious puns than the Stick.

Andy
