Some funky-ass fretless Rickenbacker bass with soul-warming harmonies! Toe-tappin', booty-shakin' stuff!

Very cool music, James.

When I was a teenager I listened many times to an album called "A Cut Above", which was a quartet of Dave Brubeck and his three sons. Chris also plays bass trombone on the record. It's a double LP direct-to-disc recording, not available on CD. amazing music.

I had the fortunate experience of seeing that band perform live in the Kresge Auditorium at Interlochen when I was a camper there (78 I think). Incredible musicianship all the way around and seeing Dave was amazing.
