Anyone ever seen Pat Metheny playing a 42 string pikasso guitar??

What a mad instrument!

I really love that piece by PM. It's also interesting that he's playing his baritone guitar. I have only recently heard of those and they are fascinating to me. Then I noticed that you can make a 7-string baritone electric over at Warmoth. There was a time in my younger days that I would have been all over one of those. Not enough time any more to play more than one instrument and I'm a Stickist now. But, I would still love to try one!

There are 2 Pikasso guitars on the planet. Pat asked Toronto luthier Linda Manzer to build a guitar with as many strings as possible. The result was the Pikasso.
Major guitar collector, Scott Chinery, was so taken by it he ordered the second ax. I was fortunate to have played Scott's Pikasso on two occassions. Fun (after tuning for hours- there is no manual)
