Thank you Rob, always balanced and fair. It's a pleasure to have you here I think we could use the 'Zen' part of Traktor's announcement Cheers, Daniel.

No manipulations. Just some honesty-to-goodness old fashion straight talk. Saying the things that need to be said. Just me taking you out to the woodshed for a spell - which you clearly aren't used to - being continuously surrounded in this forum by the usual dozen or so cool-aid drinkers. Next?

Oh. I see we've moved the conversation. I'll continue the lesson over there.

I'll say this in Traktor's defense:
Not a one of you can honestly say you've "ASSISTED" in a tantric yoga seminar... bitchin'....
Looking the way Traktor looks, we should all be in awe.... How DID HE GET THAT GIG????
Traktor has quite a resume....

Kev ROFL Besides Traktor's marketing strategy, I'm sure he must be a funny guy! Cheers, Daniel.

Now would be a good time for me to come out in favor of monopolization.

Hmmm, looks like a super wide fretboard. Looks huge in general, not saying thats so bad but it almost looks too big? I wonder how it sounds? Or if the width is for more regular bass playing styles in addition to the tapping. Are there any vid clips?

Re: New Instrument Announcement -- $995 12-string ZenTapper
I'm sure it sounds OK, but who could play the beast on stage? I think RJ nailed the idea, and I think it is truly brilliant. However, even RJ knows it wasn't aesthetically pleasing, that it was a prototype which needed refinement of its design.
The Z tapper is a caricature of RJ's idea, and the original concept of an INEXPENSIVE tap guitar assembled from standard building materials was lost. Here, we see an instrument which pays homage to a prototype... a bad idea.
From what I understand, Megatars which cost roughly the same amount sound very good. What is Traktor thinking? Dunno...
Me? I want a Tapladder. The real thing. I'll put my own pickups on it and modify it as I see fit. RJ is awesome.
