I wonder how it sounds? Or if the width is for more regular bass playing styles in addition to the tapping. Are there any vid clips?

Re: New Instrument Announcement -- $995 12-string ZenTapper I'm sure it sounds OK, but who could play the beast on stage? I think RJ nailed the idea, and I think it is truly brilliant. However, even RJ knows it wasn't aesthetically pleasing, that it was a prototype which needed refinement of its design.
The Z tapper is a caricature of RJ's idea, and the original concept of an INEXPENSIVE tap guitar assembled from standard building materials was lost. Here, we see an instrument which pays homage to a prototype... a bad idea.
From what I understand, Megatars which cost roughly the same amount sound very good. What is Traktor thinking? Dunno...
Me? I want a Tapladder. The real thing. I'll put my own pickups on it and modify it as I see fit. RJ is awesome.
