Hi Everyone! Try this. Greg Howards Root 5 Octave Chord Progression page 3-8,

Just take any one of the bars in the exercise say, 3rd bar- 3rd Beat in the bar, play A E A E A E desc & asc in 8th notes over a 3/4 bar.
NOW... Let your right hand dbl the left hand at first, from there, let your hands begin to wander with the familiar scale shapes &/ or intervals your used to so far. Now your starting to improvise....is'nt it easy & Fun!

Hi Radkon,

If you have a chance to video some of this I'd certainly be interested in seeing it...

Thanks Konradeeee, sounds pretty simple (even for me!), I'll try that tomorrow night!

Hi guys.

Great to hear from you Greg, looks like I'll have to put my money where my mouth is & make my first video post a little improvised noodle, Ha! Nothing like being put on the spot, though I'm sure you mean that in a pretty chilled kind of way. Yes, I have been quite effusive on these posts lately.

Anyhow, I'll be interstate for a month, so I'll come back and have a little play & whack it up there. I suppose I'm just taking those carefree "let your hands do the work" directions that have been given by yourself, Emmett & others.

Thanks again for all the inspiration & directions.

Regards to All.

Radkon

Hi Radkon,

A video is worth a million words, I just wanted to make sure I understood your concept. No gauntlet or goblet thrown....
