Hey Rey- I thought that was some of the best stuff I've heard from you, man! Nice work! :D

I can't help but notice that little bit that sounds kind of like "House of the Rising Sun" has tightened up quite a bit - maybe pay attention to those riffs that come naturally and try to do a variation on them - they seem to be bearing fruit! It's really inspiring to see someone do a kind of "move forward" in ability. Sure there's a kink or two to iron out, but that was pretty good, man!

Anyways, cool stuff!

Thanks guys, that means a lot.
My fingers are finally starting to tap the strings lighter. My left elbow is very happy about that.
The death grip is dying.
I find a lighter touch actually makes tapping much faster, duh. I have to think of my left hand, like I think of my right hand, fluid. There is so much more stuff you can do, when your fingers are close to the fretboard, and you're not putting so much pressure trying to hold that note which doesn't need that much pressure to ring.

I have a long way to go.

I love the journey.
I love The sTiCk.

Hi again Carlos. Sounds like a song arrangement, or a method of arranging a song. I see and hear those interwoven "fingersticking" notes juggled between the hands. Let's call then 8th notes. I also hear those nimble fingered triplets at the end.

As a suggestion, you could go crazy exploring with your fingers at selected spots of 16th notes, double-timing it right there within your chordal arrangement. Then you'd have it both ways, the thoughtful and meaningful harmonic elements versus some flashy rhythmic nuggets.

Also, I notice that you position your hands at particular regions on the fretboard, fingers and thumbs all "engaged" over selected strings and frets - and that's the song! Reminds me of Boris' great technique using all ten digits.

Threading your way toward a song, you can sew it up at twice the speed at it any time, merging the two contrary modes that you play best. Might be soul satisfying for everybody.

Post Re: Finding mindfulness
I am again humbled Sir.

An insight into my warped mind,

I am trying to find the music in the chord progressions that I am practicing, this will eventually lead to being able to speak through the Stick.
I am trying to expand the chords I am playing ,and switch between them in an orderly fashion.

Currently I am working on maybe an Am chord progression that jay calls house rising sun, the second half is a Cm chord progression . Eventually I will like to blend them into something.

I have ideas in my head that I want to express, but I feel that I need to learn the sounds of the instrument, in order to be able to use them, it's a long road.

I am starting to work on some new stuff, as it is getting easier for me to play what I want to say.

Thank you so much Sir.
You truly changed my life.
