If we're expanding this thread to include any sort of drug influence, on the topic of psycho-stimulants, I'd have to say it would be quite difficult for me t to do anything productive without my prescribed amphetamine salts (Adderall). I take them for ADHD/narcolepsy, and I'm a sleepy, unfocused mess of "bad-feels" if I need to do any sort of non-passive brain insertion when I don't take it for an extended period of time. It was definitely a life changing difference when I started taking it. Not wanting to sleep all the time is a great feeling!

Re: Alcohol and playing
Toxin u r EDM ish huh? I should check out more your stuff. You make tracks, collaborate? Vaping is the new dope, I dig it. Are you sub ohming like mad hatter yet? I am not sure about nicotines later sharp focus but since I vape I am gonna pretend to believe it! Your funny man about the herb, u go its legal to vape it some places. I think as times speeds up here humans can more freely chat about things. Who cares about the internet police watchdog haha. Anyway nicotine as stimulant still is odd as it calms me. If I am not mistaken some peeps get chilled from stimulants and others get hyper ect. Like expresso dude I can chuzzle that and either "do stuff" or nap. Cheers Heres a tripper jam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXL1uUIbI1w

Damn the auto correct above! Live clip: again think gin 7/4 a lot or maybe 4 but something emphasized? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2z8571F0R8Just curious you know, but this is like my favorite band band per say. Live act as well as studio u go I have a goal to make a track like ozric with stick. The arpeggiators replaced of course with hyper finger weaving notes. But that same ethethearl vibe....with loops and that 7ish groove usually. wrong thread oops

I made beer once and it was like toxic. Had horrific psychedelic artifacts of basically mildly poisoning oneself. HA long ago, since then I am doctor Veber M.D fyi. I can prescribe antidotes for para-mental/normal issues. Self medication has got a bad rap cause of opiates... Dark hails

Re: Alcohol and playing
When I was drumming in a busy function band, I found that I could have a glass of white wine (not my preference) but not red (my preference) because I would suffer bad muscle cramps after red wine. I was ok with beer, though. Go figure. When I was in my 20's I played a gig at a small, shall we say "non-metropolitan" spot in central northern Maine, an area long known for its proliferation of weed. The band was given brownies - and I was not told how much I should or shouldn't have. I was pretty well stoned, but as the rest of the band and the audience were, too, we all had a good time. Later, at a gig not far away from that one, I smoked a little too much and I ended up rather anxious about my playing - the bass player was laughing his ass off at me because I had the most worried look on my face through a whole set. Bottom line of all this: moderation and keen observation of one's reactions are key. I haven't tried playing Stick in an altered state yet. Perhaps it's time I tried.
