Interesting page. Thanks for posting the link! The next step now would be to search out all those instruments on YouTube to hear what they sound like.

Good stuff i have 4 of them.

I almost bought a sitar once. but there are cheap sitars and real sitars, much like any other instrument. real sitars cost a lot of money.

The digeridoo i almost bought after watching bob culbertson, but i dont think i have the lung power or the circular breathing required,.. maybe in the future.
I was diggin on the Tesla coil thing, thinking that might be able to go through a midi, and not have such a rough sound,. Somewhat like the theremin which I've only really used a few times,. I have to plug in the theremin, and learn some, I wonder what would happen if we put a theremin in between some Tesla coils . Maybe the lightning would trigger the theremin, hmmm.

I'm just glad the Chapman Stick made the list. It's definitely different.

I heard a Glass Armonica once, amazing sound.
I have a friend who is in a band with a hurdy gurdy. My friend fixed it so I saw the mechanics of it. it is a fantastic thing, and makes an impressive sound, but it is pretty limited, in that once you have heard one hurdy gurdy song you have kind of heard them all!

I am periodically tempted to get one of these acoustic/ electric koras made with modern instruments parts ( mini machine tuners, luthiered wenge neck / beam, lugged drum head resonator ) . I have my hands full just playing the stick though [emoji1783]
