List of chords for the bass side
Hey Stick nation.
Does anyone have a link/chart/program that lists a comprehensive list of 3 to 4 note chords on the bass side of the stick? I've been away for a while and I'm learning how to replay all the stuff I've forgotten.
I have my own list here on a whiteboard but I'm sure there's a shit ton I don't know about and I'm trying to expand my vocabulary. Every chord I know I've stolen from David Tipton.....thx Dave!
Cheers' Kev (dude/bro)

Re: List of chords for the bass side
Here is Greg’ Howard’s Chord Compendium which is available free on Stick.com in several tunings: https://stick.com/method/resources/chords/Also Chris Crain previously had his Sticktionary, but it’s not on archive.org nor does Google find it anywhere: sticktionary filetype:pdf However Scribd.com does have some of Chris’ materials: https://www.scribd.com/search?query=sticktionaryHTH

Re: List of chords for the bass side
I have Chris Crain's books. - Sticktionary - PolyChords - eLessons I've noticed that theCipher.com is gone as well. It seems that many internet resources are disappearing. Luckily this one is still here. http://sticklessons.com/lessons.htmlBefore Chris shut down his website, he offered these books for free. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=14860There's a 10MB file size limit on this forum. Here's Polychords.

I was the editor for Chris's Sticktionary book. It is quite comprehensive. There seems to be another book called "Stickology....." that addresses bass harmonic possibilities. Explore, create, enjoy

Re: List of chords for the bass side
Just to add… There’s also some left-hand chord info at the start of this video by Greg: https://youtu.be/5TZi0qKzKCM?si=v6fusvSfVqx2OIvgPreviously he made a one-page PDF of chords, but I can’t find that any more.

Re: List of chords for the bass side
I have several of Greg's one or two page tutorials. Most of them have been printed out on 11" X 17" paper. When I find the original PDF files, I will upload them. Here's one of these tutorials called Modes made EasyIf you want to go really deep into music theory. Check out these books. https://cochranemusic.com/node/106

Re: List of chords for the bass side
stick.com has a set of chord compendium diagrams for various tunings done by Greg Howard that are thorough, but still easy to reference. i would check those out first. as everything Greg did, they are of high quality https://stick.com/method/resources/chords/
