Post 4 Chord Challenge...
Anyone want to try this on Stick?
How many songs can you play with the same 4 Chords?

Any of my students recognize this progression?
And the easy geometry on The Stick?

Given the nature of the instrument, it would also be interesting to see how many musical-sounding voicings one could come up with in this progression.

Mad Monk.

I learned in the past 6 different patterns (basic ones) and then you can work your harmony on these to make them more complicated and reach very high level of complexity. Here they are:

Pattern #1
I VIm7 | IIm7 V7 |

Pattern #2
I #Idim | IIm7 V7 |

Pattern #3
I bIIIdim | IIm7 V7 |

Pattern #4
V7 of V | IIm7 V7 | I |

Pattern #5
V7 of II(b9) | IIm7 V7 | I |

Pattern #6
I V7 of IV | IV IVm | I |

You have a lot of songs on these basic patterns...
