Re: Chapman Stick FAQ - your input/help/add-on
My consternation came from after telling someone it's called a Chapman Stick they lean over to their friend and say, "He said it's called a ChapStick."

Don't forget to capitalize the "S" in Stick, because it's a trademark name. Also the "T" in The Stick for the same reason. Very funny Kevin-c cheers,

Three other fairly well-known songs with featured Stick content:
"Calling all Angels" by Amy Grant, Andy-Widders Ellis on Stick "If I had a Rocket Launcher" by Bruce Cochburn, Fergus Marsh on Stick "The Dreaming Tree", by the Dave Matthews Band, Greg Howard on Stick...

Quote: I think a good thing to mention in the price category is comparison to other instruments of high quality. Have you guys checked what a top notch trumpet goes for these days? Me neither, but I'd guess it's a lot more than a 10 string. I agree of course, but I'm nostalgic for the days of 2000 to 2002, when you could pick up a used Stick on Ebay for $700 to $800. That's how much I paid for the Stick I'm playing now, and I love everything about it. I had to trade up. At first I had my old Rosewood, and bought a Polycarb, then sold the Rosewood and bought the one I've got now, which is wood, painted black, 34", with Fret Rods, Stickup, and adjustable bridge. R
