Stick is ordered -- VERY short lead time!
So I ordered my stick yesterday, expecting 4-6 month lead time.
Cambria says I should have it prior to July 4th, going as far as saying its 1-2 months lead time.

That's so awesome for you Michael! You won't have long to wait at all! What did you get?

Wow, I thought it must surely be a Railboard order to go that fast! You can get a bamboo Grand in a couple of months?!!! I should NOT know this! It's the wait--and the couple of grand or so--that keeps me from getting my third so soon after the 2nd. That sounds like an awesome Stick!

Re: Stick is ordered -- VERY short lead time!
It was pointed out to me that there is no newer, shorter Stick Wait, unless Stick Ent. happens to have a canceled order that matches what you're looking for. I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up--especially mine--that you could get Grand Sticks in a month and a half normally. But that's all the more reason to put my order in sooner rather than later for the next Stick.
So extra plus goodness lucky lucky on the shorter wait--that's not the new normal, just a lucky break for you! Congrats again, though!

I was also told production time was about 2 months when I ordered my NS Stick about a month ago. Can't wait!

Re: Stick is ordered -- VERY short lead time!
I ordered a railboard a few days back and got a 1-2 month lead time and 'possibly sooner'. I picked one that they had available, so it may come in a bit quicker depending on what all is on the schedule. I really didn't have a color preference so moving from blue to bronze wasn't a big deal. I just wanted dots instead of lines.
In the meantime, I've tuned my guitar to 4ths and lowered the action down to just above where a buzz would be heard to try and practice a little bit. I'm really digging the 4th tuning. It's amazing how a logical layout in the tuning can do for pattern recognition. I understand why guitars are tuned the way they are tuning, but I almost wanna keep my guitar in this tuning after the railboard arrives.
