Stick on its way ...
...so I ordered my stick on 4/5... It was done a month later.
It is now on its way to me in Texas, and according to UPS will be delivered on Friday.
Much like hitting the elevator button several times in rapid succession to speed its arrival, I am thinking of checking on the tracking status several times an hour to speed it up.
Think it'll work?

Re: Stick on its way ...
Oh my god, Michael! That StickWait is so horrible--you seemed to have been really lucky in that regard! Congratulations on your new arrival-to-be. Count them seconds down! Let me not hijack your special moment, but this video should show how obsessive I was about getting my new Railboard two day before Christmas! Watch me staring out the window--and filming--the poor UPS guy finally dropping my Stick off Monday (sorry Wednesday, my calendar reminds me) morning--after sitting in freezing sub-zero weather the whole weekend, after arriving at my local post office late Friday (and sitting there the whole weekend in the back of the truck....Must have checked that listing 100 times over the weekend, because the stupid thing said it would be delivered Friday, and updated to Monday (sorry Wednesday--I forgot about the 2-day delay!) 4 minutes before the truck arrived!) Congrats! And best of luck!

Think it'll work? It would if UPS used this: US Patent 7,299,125 In-transit package location tracking and reporting I wrote a patent on using the existing GPS to send virtual scans on the delivery truck so anxious people like us could know what we are dealing with. It is absolutely nerve wracking to deal with ground shipments cross country that hardly ever stop in to be scanned.

R Houston Area -- technically Seabrook, near Kemah.

Re: Stick on its way ...
There's something about Houston..... I'm in H-Town too, ordered in early June, arrived late July.
And yes. It is a scientifically proven fact that checking the tracking repeatedly on UPS makes it come faster....... erm.........
Enjoy!
