Post Headphone amp?
So I can practice in my chair, does anyone have a good suggestion for a headphone amp I can use?

Do you have any effects pedals with headphone out jacks?
I just found this and thought it looked pretty cool. You would just need some kind of stereo to mono adaptor to hear both sides of the Stick.

Actually, after watching the video, I see that it comes with an adaptor to make it mono. That might be even better if your Stick has a mono switch.

Good luck.

I actually just saw this the other day, made by the same guy that designed the famous Neve consoles. http://rupertneve.com/products/rnhp-headphone-amplifier/

Thats amazing , a Neve Headphone amp, I'll never have the 48 channel Neve, but maybe thats something I could have with the legends name on it!

Best $40 in guitar gear I've spent this year! I got the Irig2 to replace my Irig 1, now that the 2 has the direct line out for an amp as well as headphone jacks. Plugs into any iPhone, iPad, and most Android devices.

Looks cool! Sounds like it's working well for you. I finally found a site that lists it's input impedance - only 380kOhm. Not causing any problems when used alone?

Hi Sominus.

I use the Vox Amphone, as mentioned by Mike.
Its a good buy, but there are a few things to note:-

It works best with ACTV2 pickup block.

It doesn't work with PASV4 pickup block....UNLESS you do a small mod.....
The mono sum comes out of the PASV4 via the sleeve of the stereo jack and not the tip.
Emmett tells me this is because its a higher output than the other way around.
I have Emmetts Email to me, regarding a small rewire on the PASV4.
Although its simple, get a proper pickup tech to do it for you!!

I dont have a Stickup equipped Stick so no comment on that .

As for the Amphone itself, I have the BASS version.
Its great but since the Stick is not just a bass, I find the bottom end is too overpowering.
Not enough to warrant me spending another £75,
but I suspect it would be better to have the "Twin" version (thats Fender Twin, there is a 3rd. model called AC30)

I hope that helps

Cheers from Steve in the UK

Another darn Stickist Steve. :D I have a running joke at the office where I'm surrounded by Steves, Stevens, Stephens, and Stephanies of all spellings that if I ever snap one day, I'm going to act like the Terminator killing all Sarah Connors and just take out people named "Steve." We all laugh, and the other Steves edge away nervously.

Stickist Steves, Thick as Thieves!
(I'll keep sayin' it until it catches on, or they catch me!)

I went and purchased an iRig 2 and a Y connector... All works well.

I HATE the sound of my stickups through a Y connector. So I am on the lookout for a 2 input solution.
The easiest is to just get a cheap small mixer. There are a bunch out there for less than $100.

There is an iRig Pro DUO but I haven't gotten to try it.
It's $160 on Amazon
