Re: Rig set up.
I've always played my Stick and NS Stick through a Carvin AG100D. Three channels, nice effects, great sound, great price! http://carvinaudio.com/collections/acoustic-seriesKris

Re: Rig set up.
Hi Jtun,
I don't have yet my Railboard, but I already play a Stick-like instrument In the band I'm playing in, my main role is to play bass parts and kind of "second guitar/keyboard" on melody side.
As a bassit I started to use my Stick-like using a bass amp, but I really had hard time to have a sound on melody side that can 'pass over' the band, due to frequency response of a bass amplifier. Therefore I moved to a keyboard amp, which gave me something like FRFR.
At home for practicing I use a Behringer KB1800Fx, it is probably not the best amp ever but it is very affordable and does the job. When playing with my band I have access to a Roland KC-550, which sounds very very good and have a much better response on low end than the Behringer
I'm also a lucky owner of a Line6 Helix so I can use (distinct) amp simulation to 'round' the sound a bit... My favorites are HiWatt emulation for Melody side and Ampeg one for Bass side.
Not sure if it helps, but this was my little contribution to the subject!
