Post DMR Tuning change question
Hello Fellow Stickists,

I need someone with more expierence in this department to help me out.

I am considering tuning my 34" 10-string to DMR. It is currently set up for Baritone melody. Will I need to adjust the bridge at all? Can I use the DMR tuning for a group setting and then tune it back to Baritone for solo gigs quickly?

Thanks everyone!

Michael

Post Re: DMR Tuning change question
Hi Michael,

DMR is a whole step lower in the bass, and a half step higher in the melody. These are not big changes, so you should be okay if you want to just use the same string set., though I would start with lights for the melody as the extra tension might make them more difficult to play.

you would want to convert heavy bass strings to the DMR.

I hope hat helps.
