any idea where i can get good railroad pics. with all available colors ? SE site has either small , back or partial pictures |

I can't address your central question, but I can throw in my two cents. I got a plum Railboard earlier this year, and I find that the color is difficult to photograph properly. The color varies widely depending on the light quality. Most photos present its "dull" state. But under cool lighting like the LEDs in my studio, it takes on a much richer red-inflected tint. I'm no photographer, and my phone pics (posted on this site a few months ago) show the "dull" view, even though that's not what my eyes perceived at the time. |

I love the blue color that I went with, but I was verrrrrry close to taking Cambria up on a Seafoam green one. If I had had more pics to go by, I might have made the Green choice, but I passed and went with the more known. I couldn't find a good view of one at the time. The blue, red, and blacks were the safer choices without having ever seen a Railboard before. And I'd especially like to see more Railboards with those specialty platings and coatings. Wow--they're just spectacular! Purty and shiny! |

I pretty much had my heart set on the blue one from pretty much the instant that I saw Kevin Kieth's Railboard video (now THERE is a cat that rips!) Actually, Kevin's stuff pretty much made me pull the trigger on a railboard. Me personally I'd like to see way more pcs if every model; SG12's and NS's too... Haha there can't be enough Stick photos... |

There actually are some good shots of 4 railboards in the Hot Shots Gallery (my actual Railboard being one of them). Not a lot of color variation, but some pro shots nonetheless. |
