Post Ordering/Lead time
So - since the deal on the used one didn't go through - I'm just going to suck it up and order a NEW railboard direct from Stick Ent.
However - I've sent a couple emails and have received no reply.
What kind of lead time am I looking at between ordering and delivery?
Do I need to pay 100% up front or will it be a deposit with remainder due upon completion/shipment?

Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Nick

There’s an online form that you should use to order your stick. The form allows you to select your options: wood, tuning, string gauge. Wait a day or so and call SE and ask for Cambria, who coordinates all sales. Cambria can give you an estimate on completion. No deposit is required until they start your stick. I think I paid $500 deposit on my last stick order, with the balance due at completion.

Cool thanks.
Any idea on lead time? Is it like a month or more like several?

I recal 300 deposit for standard stick...500 was for midi I thought. Yes call Cambriavfor sure. My railboard took 140 days and my SG12 took 6months I think. It depends entirely what you want and if you get lucky in that the have the blanks there to work from or if you have to wait for a new batch of blanks. It’s worth the wait but as you will see keep in touch here and start thinking of how you want to use your stick when you get it.

Yeah - I'm gonna go pretty basic.
Railboard. Black. Probably glow in the dark dot inlays (or maybe sparkle gold)
All black enclosed tuners.
no midi.
10 string.

So should be pretty straight ahead.
But that's good to know. So could be 3 months - 6 (or maybe a bit longer).

Cool.
Thanks again!
Nick

I don't know what happened to my reply there! I ordered my railboard in March and it arrived in the UK exactly 12 weeks later. The customer service and communications from Cambria, Emmett and Grace was outstanding. I'm loving getting to know the railboard, although only been 3 weeks since it arrived. Can't get enough of it!

Ordered my Railboard on 1/17/17, 300.00 deposit when they started work on it. Received on 5/3/17 (Blue, 10 String, Silver Glitter Linear inlays, Chrome/Black closed tuners). It's actually one of the 3 pictured in the Hotshots Gallery at Stick.com

http://www.stick.com/instruments/hotshots/#myModal9

Avg wait was around 4 months at the time.
