 Hipshot tuner shot? I was tuning the big C string when the plastic washer located below the tuner button snapped and dislodged. It’s a small, white plastic ring. The tuner still works. Has this happened to anyone else? The string still stays in tune.

Re: Hipshot tuner shot? good news! I just got off the phone with Hipshot. I explained the problem with the broken washer and they said they would mail me a replacement washer for free of charge!

I called SE to get the part number for the broken chrome, open-gear hipshot. After I explained the problem, I was told SE could mail me a whole new tuner! That's another example of how SE stands by its product. Thank you guys!

Re: Hipshot tuner shot? I've been knowing Dave Borisoff - the creator/owner of Hipshot products since about 1980 when we were both working pedal steel players in L.A. Greatest guy you'd ever want to meet. And he's got great products.
