I'd like to learn about the current status of delivery delays. What is your experience? Myself, I am waiting for a 12-str Railboard, and when I paid the deposit almost two years ago the delivery time was said to be 10 to 12 months. I have not received any status updates from SE on my order.

I waited around two years and change for mine. Ordered Dec2020/jan2021 and it was completed May of this year.

I'm awaiting a 12 string bamboo Grand. Order placed September 2021. The original order was for a 12 string Railboard, but I was able to switch midstream (September 2022) without loosing my place as there was a stock bamboo beam that fitted my requirements.

I've tried not to perster Jeff but I have enquired occasionally. I last contacted Jeff in early July this year and was told "probably a couple more months". I had in mind to contact him again around now, but haven't yet done so.

If you email Jeff you will get an answer. It's unlikley to give any firm timeline, but it might give an idea?

Now I know what's normal these days, and that my order is not being forgotten.

I stopped by Stick Enterprises quite recently and I assure you all that they're putting in long hours and working their asses off trying to catch up and deliver instruments as fast as possible. I would guess that the wait time for new builds will eventually start to decrease as they work through this tough time.

I just asked Jeff about wooden stick
he told me

"Production time is close to 2 years for a Stick instrument. Approximately 18-20 months"

I placed an order for a bamboo SG12 about a month or so ago & that's exactly what I was told, with the clear proviso that it's only a very approximate guideline. If that's how it works out I'll be delighted & impressed.

As to my Sept '21 order, being realistic I'm hoping it may be here by Christmas. Maybe even Christmas 2023. LOL!

Quality work takes time & peace of mind. Best not rushed.

Thanks, Boaz. If this is true for the Railboard production as well I may look at using a new Railboard for my 2024 summer tour here in Sweden. Really good news I have switched to more light-weight speakers now so I will be able to schlepp a RB rather than a light SG-12.

For what it's worth my Stick took about a year and a half, ordered March 2021, delivered October 2022. (Coming up on my one year anniversary!)
