#5657 is Finished!!!
Yes, I talked to Yuta 10am CA time, and hopefully Jennifer will have it out the door today. If not, then Mon. After that, 6 days on the road to Jersey. Yuta had it right next to her, it's a 12-string grand, she said,"...dark bamboo, black tuners, black linear inlays...it's flawless." She also said she liked the dark better than the light(I have a woman's approval). It's DBR, standard bass, the reason being my other stick is an ironwood tuned 1/2 bari (in between), so the tunings and fret markers will match, and I don't really need the fretted B. Oh, and PASV-4 and midi on the melody (we'll see how it tracks). And, when I ordered it, Yuta said 8-10 mos., and 8mos. was Wednesday. It was ready yesterday! HooBoy I'm HAPPY!

Congrats Marty! Let's have some pictures when it arrives. There's nothing to do now but watch the UPS website. Enjoy.

Congrats! I'm looking forward to the same experience with #5654 later this year. I got a dark bamboo grand with indigo linears and a Stickup. I'm going to start with classic tuning. I'm looking forward to pictures!

Re: #5657 is Finished!!!
I just checked UPS tracking and my Stick arrived in Edison @12:54AM. So I guess it'll be out the door Bright and Early and I'll be in possesion of my Baby sometime...after...that. All of a sudden Time is begining slow down. I wonder if this is what Einstein was talking about. But sorry guys, I don't have access to a computer with picture capabilities at this point, so you're gonna hafta wait. Maybe I can figure something out. I certainly want to show it off to SOMEONE who can appreciate "Her".

Re: #5657 is Finished!!!
There seems to be a lot of bamboo sticks around these days!
I'd be really torn over bamboo or tarara if I ever ordered another one. I wish I could get to see both 'in the flesh' so to speak.

That was the time of year when I have to flog myself into the ground with overtime, and couldn't make it. Actually, I think that was the turning point when I 'gave up' playing. Couldn't even make the gig in the end.

I just started a new job in December and I really had to scale back my music stuff for a while. In fact, it wasn't a conscious decision...it was just where my energy had to flow...I'm just emerging from it now ('cause this is my year of fluent Stick playing...there I've said it in public now)
