That's amazing! And it really does balance out the gold tuners, I love this!!

While I personally don't think gold tuners NEED balance (they're beautiful all by themselves) the pickup design is great. Guitars have had them for years but this may be the first stick with a custom "pickguard"! Awesome!

I must say that the instrument is very well-balanced visually. The pickup has a wild design, but it has the right combination of colors that actually makes it blend in perfectly. You would think that your eyes would go right to the pickup, but it's not the case. The turquoise on the pickup matches the fret dots, and the gold flame compliments the tuners. Very well-thought out scheme that produces a bold and unique instrument!

Thanks for the comments, guys. I have played it for a few hours now and I must say that it is really sweet. I love the high notes! I'm getting the sound I have wanted for a long time. I am getting used to the fret spacing very quickly, maybe all the years on guitar are helping with that. I hope to have some videos this summer. I haven't found a summer programming contract so I might have more time on my hands.

I started working on an Andrew York classical guitar piece and it's going to work beautifully. I'm excited to be able to play the piano pieces I love in their original keys. I have tried some of the pieces that I play on my grand and they're going to need some reworking. But, they will be better when I'm done with them.

I might be set with instruments, for a while.
